Suggest a way to “like” comments as in Facebook instead of returning comments with a tag.

I was just going to suggest this, but I see it was first suggested a few years ago. Was this ever under consideration by the team? It would be SO helpful…it makes me feel better to acknowledge a compliment I’ve received but I don’t always have time to type a comment in return. I think it should just be a 👍🏻 Or ❤️. Definitely no options for negative reactions. Thank you for your consideration!!

It would be nice to have a feature next to each comment where you could just do a ❤️ or a 👍 (like in FB) so you can let them know you have seen and appreciate their comment. It would be much easier and faster to show your appreciation rather than having to put their name in.

It can be very time consuming to call out all commenters on a picture with the “@“ symbol. Thanking everyone and scrolling back through the comments to make sure you get their spelling or making sure you get everyone while trying to write your thank you note can be hard. Like Facebook or many other social media comment sections, why not allow us to touch their comment and be presented with a few options for LIKE or LOVE or THANKS or APPRECIATE IT or I’M HUMBLED, etc. Would certainly remove some of the pressure to type up a long comment. Some people thank everyone personally. I can’t imagine the time it takes to do that. Don’t remove your tagging option, just add this option. Sample from Facebook attached. Thanks for considering this.
