I'd like to be able to see the tools better!
The tools are really hard to make out, and for somebody like myself with failing eyesight, it would be really great to have them stand out more. I understand the logic of not wanting them to be a distraction, but the abstraction is too much, and detracts from an incredible program and drawing experience. (I’m speaking from the viewpoint of a specialist in interface design, by the way).

.In Marvel coloring book, I think, the tools are on a dark background which looks so much better. It shouldn’t be that difficult to implement in Pixite, perhaps even as a user preference.

Also, sometimes the tools cover up the area you are working on, such as when you are changing text/fonts, etc, so you can’t see what you’ve chosen.
