More Palet Features: Name colours and bigger pallets, pin to screen!
I just discovered Pigment recently and have fallen inlove with this app. I have been enjoying colouring on my ipad as a new hobby and love how easy it is to upload my own pages to colour in Pigment. Since using this app for a few days, there are a few features that I really wish it had that would make it more enjoyable:
Ability to pin pallet selection on the screen: I like to be able to see all the colours and pallets I have available while I’m colouring. I like the feature at the bottom that shows the current pallet selected, but it would be nice to pin the pop up that shows all of our pallets instead of it disappearing once you start colouring.
Bigger pallets: I’ve been trying to create my own pallets, and have been using the viral markers as a guide so that I can use the colour wheel and system that they have for colouring, but with the pallets only having 16 colours, I can't have all of my colours sorted into one. I have about 3 "blue" pallets, it would be nice if the pallets were able to hold 30+ colours so that it's easier to organize and not be limited in our colour selection.
Naming colours: As I said above, I've been using the viral markers for my digital colouring, so I've converted them all into hex codes, but have no way of knowing what colour is what afterwards. It would be nice if we could label each individual colour so that we can easily select a specific colour when following a tutorial or to find a specific colour for another piece down the line. For example, the name could show up on the colour and could have a toggle option to hide it if you wanted. Shown in my image as “12345”.
This app is wonderful, I love how simple it is and I really enjoy the community aspect of it to motivate me to colour and share my work. I also really enjoy browsing and seeing what everyone else creates. I think these features would make this app even better and would benefit a lot of users.
