Compatibility with Adobe Capture SVG exports
Hello. I just started using Assembly (love it!) and was trying to import an SVG made from Adobe Capture. The good news is the SVG opens in Assembly but for whatever reason the shapes and lines are not translating over.
Expected steps: Take a pic, open it in Adobe Capture, export to SVG, open in Assembly, see lines/shapes match the SVG
Actual results: The shapes/lines in Assembly do not match the SVG file/preview.
Is this a bug? A feature request? Adobe intentional? Thanks for reading.

Setting a pivot point for rotating besides the center of the object
Example: Clone a square object then snap them side by side to form a rectangle. Rotate the right square by 15 degrees at its Southwest corner so you can combine it to a complex object.

Reorder palettes
It would be nice if we could reorder palettes so that our customs palettes could be closer to the top, especially since it seems like we can’t delete the default palettes. It’s tedious to have to keep scrolling down past the default palettes to work with my own palette.

Retain separate colors when combining shapes.
Currently, for cut/combine features we have: cut out, intersect, and combine. I'd love to be able to overlay and combine shapes but have them retain their colors, rather than become one color together. I know that grouping two shapes is possible, but it doesn't seem possible to use the cut/combine function with a grouped shape and another shape.

Please this is very important too. To have a fully customizable style library. Where I can add pattern, gradients, styles. Please please make this app a dream come true. This is the best vector app on apple store. With pro features I wont have to use illustrator anymore.

Full Stroke Editing
Please add a full set of stroke editing options like some other suggestions (such as end cap/shadow.) and include alignment (where the stroke originates/inside, outside, center) angle (allow for calligraphic strokes)

Support for keyboard shortcuts
I have an iPad Pro with a keyboard and find myself automatically trying to move shapes via the arrow keys and using command + Z to undo. I would love if common keyboard keys/shortcuts were supported!

Stroke cap setting to edge of stroke weight
Similar to the option of rounded corners & strokes ends vs sharp corners & stroke ends, I’d like to have the option to set the vertex location to the edge to the stroke. This would be similar to Adobe Illustrator’s stroke cap options; see attached photo.

Allow shape vertexes to snap to other shape vertexes
Allow shape vertex points to snap to other vertex points not attatched or related to that shapes vertex. Like, you can attatch vertex points to others on the same shape, but not on others?
Can we just make shapes interact with each other (period)? Such as snapping to vertex points, snapping to edges, and other interaction features.

Counter-clockwise shape rotate button
So you can easily rotate back if you miss the angle you wanted, and not have to circle back around.

Please add the ability to zero out the rotation on object groups.
When you create a group of shapes, you have often rotated a number of them into various non-standard positions. When you group them, the group as a whole is assigned a rotation value (I assume an average of all of them). It would be nice if a group could be set so it's rotation was at 0 degrees when created.
From a design perspective, this would make rotating groups easier. Especially with snapping on.5 votes -

Make it so we can put our shapes that we create into our own seperate categories.

Path array...
Say I draw a little object, then I want to draw a curvy path for that object to sit on at repeated intervals. It would be so freeing to be able to set the object on that path and when creating patterns, just have that object repeat at intervals following the path without having to copy, past, nudge, adjust, repeat on and on.

Color combine transparent shapes
Not just opacity. So you can overlay (say) yellow and blues and get green where it overlaps
