    This just requires a technique of creating the multicolored shapes you want to outline/select all of them/duplicate/now combine this duped version and drop the fill to 0/ add stroke/ overlay on top of the original shapes.

    I think you can use 'combine' for that?

    Breaking: I want to color the shapes, like a sun with stripes, in different colors than just one.
    Combining: I want to be able to close open shapes.
