Ruler
I know it’s been added before but a little while back, but please please please, can we get a floating ruler added. It’s like the most fundamental and important tool that is missing and as others have already mentioned, it would make this app 100% perfect.

Yes!! This would be soooooo helpful for so many things!! I’m using washi tape and it is not always the easiest..

This is a pretty cool idea. It would be nice to have a ruler selection button so you have the option to have a ruler at the top of your page but then also make it disappear if you don’t really need it. Would be helpful and great to make alignments with pictures and words, or have things spaced out in a perfect alignment to make things more aesthetically pleasing.

Definitely! When I want to use special icons for checklists and the like, it is SO hard to make them line up, and a grid background is not always precise enough — or even an option, depending on the template.

An example of use would be making your own mood trackers with the emoji stickers. To enable making them line up being able to have a ruler to level them would make it a lot easier.
This could be made as part of the ruler feature already requested. -

Maybe add an option for a Ruler Bar across the top and Ruler Guides for the highlighted item?

The straight line option is nice, but a ruler is not just for straight lines!
If it is in the works, could you provide us with the choice of „inch“ and „cm“, please.
And it would nice if you could choose if the edge of the ruler is like a „hard edge“ that doesn’t allow the drawing tool to color under the ruler or a „soft edge“ where the color can „bleed“ under the ruler. I tried to attach pictures that hopefully help to explain what I mean.
The pictures include one with instructions from an other app with a good ruler and the other one shows that they provide the option to see the exact angle it is while rotating it.
Thank you for the option to request a feature, the fast response and the transparent handling of them.
