Lasso selection tool use apple's tool?

The Lasso selection tool suggestion shows COMPLETED. Not so. I believe Apples lasso selection is much more refined, why can that not be used? Current Zinnia lasso selects, as someone mentioned, half the page, the lasso area turned into a big box.

    Please work on Lasso selection tool, currently the selection turns into a large box area.
