Too many cartoonish/childish images to color.
Too many cartoonish/childish images to color. This is primarily an adult app. Even if kids use it, the adult is paying for it.
35 votesThanks for contacting us about the recent Daily pages in Pigment. It sounds like some of the newer selections have felt a bit too simple or playful compared to the more detailed adult coloring experience you were expecting. I’m sorry for that disconnect — that’s not the experience we want you to have when you open Pigment.
Lately, we’ve been experimenting with a wider range of styles, including some softer and more minimal “cozy coloring” content that many users have requested. Our goal isn’t to move away from detailed adult coloring pages, but to offer more variety: sometimes intricate and immersive, other times lighter and more relaxing depending on the mood.
Your feedback is genuinely helpful as we work to find the right balance. We’re already adjusting the mix of Daily content for May 2026 to include more detailed and intricate pieces alongside the lighter styles.
Please keep sharing your…

A folder option on the “All work” tab. I would love to be able to organize my unfinished/future projects:)

Draw over line work
Ability to draw over the initial line work of the chosen colouring pages as it’ll help people be more creative especially those who might find free drawing intimidating at first. As it gives you a blueprint to work with but also lets you change aspects of the page and make it your own.

Ai doesn’t belong in art
Talented artists are being overshadowed by Ai generated “art”. We should either have separate tab for it or none at all

Grayscale Gallery
Have a gallery for only uncolored grayscales that are being shared for others to color. Then people who don't want to see uncolored grayscales don't have to see them at all. Artists do not have to color before posting. Those of us who lave new grayscales connew them all we want.

PDF Support
This has been mentioned multiple times but app needs to support PDF files. I was excited to try out this app - until I found out that I have to convert my PDFs to photo files. All of my digital coloring books are PDFs. Canceled my subscription and am paying for Procreate - I would gladly try again when PDFs are supported
2 votesCorrection: we realize that this forum is actually for the Pigment app and not our Zinnia app. Public status for this is open again. Apologies!

Content
Can we please have more coloring pages uploaded that are patterns, especially those with more detail? Lately it is so many cartoon characters, which I don’t find enjoyable to color. I’d really love more content geared towards adults that is not featuring a human or humanoid or kids character. Patterns, florals, and mandalas especially. Other coloring apps tend to focus on this type of coloring page selection, and I’d love if pigment did as well so I could stay on this platform. Thanks for your consideration.

Export to photos from completed images like you can from works in progress
In “all work”I can export to my photos (in order to print or post to Facebook groups or just have a copy in my photos). But in “published” I have to “add to reading list’ then go there to save to photos. It would be nice to cut out that extra step and make the two places work the same.

A separate gallery for all digital type of works
It would be nice to separate all digital images from pigment pages by giving them their own gallery.

More gender diversity under fashion and nature sections!
This isn’t a critique of the developers. This is more of a suggestion based on my feelings as an AFAB individual (biological woman) and how ideas can be expanded upon. I notice most of the books featuring humans alongside nature, fashion, etc themes are worded like: “A collection of xyz featuring beautiful women” which is fine, I agree women are very gorgeous 🏳️🌈 BUT! What about some gorgeous men, too? The only pages featuring guys I ever see are either children, or big burly tough dudes with beards. I’d love to see some guys in nature, or fashion, or non-combat…

Actual glitter
I would love to see the glitter brush actually do an animated glitter effect. Another coloring app I use does this. Pigment would be a superior app to the other one if they could also offer an actual glitter effect. For reference the app that makes an animated glitter is called pixel art.

Along with the slide bar for the color shades, also have numbers so you can regulate the lightening and the darkening by an exact measuremen
Along with the slide bar to make a color lighter or darker, add a number scale so you can exactly determine what shade of the color you are using with an arrow button to use the scale on the right and left.
