Layers, so like if I painted the sky it wouldn’t overlap what I already did
It would be great for non premium people too!
I agree. Having layers would be vastly helpful.
Let me caution, though, that it’s better to not have them than to have them full of glitches. The Amaziograph app that I use for most of my designs has a layering feature but you have to be extremely careful with it because it crashes the app and you lose your work—sometimes your entire design. I suspect it’s related to how much memory is available to the app on the iPad.
Every benefit that's already posted here in this thread is real and tangible and I would enjoy using layers here in Pigment. Just get it right out of the gate.
Pixite, layers and better tools for managing the gallery are the most-bang-for-your-buck features you can add to enhance customer experience. After increasing the price of a yearly premium subscription by a whopping 50%, some significant enhancements on this scale are warranted.
Look i know this has probably been brought up planty of times. And i have read a fue of them alredy.
And i understand it would take allot of effort. But just becouse you can alredy layer brushes over eatch outer. It dousent help allot if say
1) you make a big mistake. This means you have to delete allot of your work or u do it. Thair for having to redo allot of work you alredy did
2) layers work allot beter with the blur tool. Than just puting colors ontop and bluring them together.
Layers a very usful thing i. Artwork. And usualy open up art to spectacular results
Thanks for reading if and when you do.
Even if its not accepted. Thank you for providing an option for app suggestions its a. Erry welco e thing
This would be incredibly helpful in creating hand painted custom backgrounds to compliment the pages. It’s frustrating to have to select 57 spaces to do this only to have to do it again if you want to use the dropper to select a color!
Layers would be a big help. In addition to separating parts of the picture, it lets you experiment with something and then completely undo it if it doesn’t turn out well. While you can do that with the Undo function, it can take a long time to back out of something.

Like on photoshop and procreate, layers to color each item separately in one picture. It would certainly make the experience easier and more enjoyable
