I've been using Assembly right from the outset and still love it. However, there are still some quirks which frustrate me that I feel spoil what is an outstanding app. The beauty of Assembly is its simplicity and I'm sure fixing these quirks would enhance the product. So, here goes:
1. When using nudge arrows to move the shape, the alignment guides don't work.
2. When selecting a shape behind others, I understand that in order to do this you have to multi-select including shapes to be edited, and de-select all but the wanted shape. Quite often this doesn't work and can be very frustrating. One idea would be to have a pop up listing shapes selected, and be able to de-select.
3. Whilst the colour palette is infinite, there is no functionality to add or create material or texture effects, which would be fantastic and add a whole new dimension to the App.
Please let me know what you think, perhaps you could poll users to get their opinions.
