Layers System
[Zinnia admin note: It has been asked by several users for some type of layering system, possibly similar to the way "Over" or "Adobe" does it.]
I think as a Digital Planner user we so need a Layers Panel so we can change all kind of things like Lock and Unlock all Items on the page. Move items a lot easier. Change the Opacity or all items on the page. Also sizing of any item. Also Lock and Unlock Aspect Ratio for all items. Oh and a really good cropping tool to crop images that has multiple stickers like on a PDF.

Have a layer where it will show on every page. So if I have a journal with tabs I want to label I don’t have to copy and paste each one.

I think the request is to add layer options for drawing (eg move coloring layers above other drawing layers) and I just wanted to agree and add that initially I thought they meant ‘have a layer panel in general’ — this would be so helpful bc sometimes when you have a lot of objects it’s hard to grab the right one.

I use zinnia for everything. My art, notes, studying, planning, home schooling my child, everything! lol I love this app. It would make my drawing etc. easier if I could work on layers.

Received these comments from beta tester Eva (3/26/20):
A bit of a problem when trying to select an object from a collection of object placed on top of each other. I had to film this with my phone so that you can see where I am tapping and what gets selected

Here’s 0:04 seconds of video to remind how that goes. .. it’s just a vertical line tick mark for each object...added along with that object... to a horizontal left/right control... That allows the user to tap among the layers where objects reside... Adobe Spark is another good example... same mechanism, blah blah... :-)
