An error occurred while saving the comment Received these comments from beta tester Eva (3/26/20):
A bit of a problem when trying to select an object from a collection of object placed on top of each other. I had to film this with my phone so that you can see where I am tapping and what gets selected

An error occurred while saving the comment We provide these 2 pieces of content, but they can't work together. Frustrating that I can't stretch the paper to fit the frame
An error occurred while saving the comment Britton comment 1/15/20: Ability to resize images and stickers from both corners and sides, to squeeze or stretch it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Slack convo 1/24/20
Britton: What do you folks think about a desire to resize images, stickers, paper, etc. in multiple directions rather than perfect scaling (4-corner scaling)? That is, do you find yourselves wishing you could squish, stretch, or otherwise change the basic appearance of some items? Curious to know how many experience this since I, myself, do. If you, too, find yourselves wanting to have this feature, please speak up!"
Whitney: I would mostly want the ability to resize the actual journal pages. And shapes maybe if this feature becomes available.
Claire: Must have ability to scale with aspect ratio unlocked
Nicole: I think that it's nice to have the option to do both, a lock and unlock situation

An error occurred while saving the comment Jann comment during initial alpha testing 1/8/20: Dot grid spread makes the notebook seems too "small" - because of how many dots their are on the page, the size of the page feels like a pocket A6 instead of an A5. It means that a lot of the "spreads" feel like they're too big. When you size your handwriting to the size of the grid, you don't fit as much as you would on a normal A5 notebook
An error occurred while saving the comment Slack convo 1/24/20
Whitney: Ability to create your own grid or journal size! This is big for me because I create layouts on a specific size A5 journal and would love if the app matched, and I know a lot of others like bigger sized pages
Nicole: I agree with everything Whitney said. Especially the snap straight feature, ability to create shapes, and the A5 journal with the 5mm dot grid - its definitely smaller now which is great, but it's still not quite matching up.
Nicole: I think the dot grid is accurately sized in that it seems to be a 5mm grid, but that must mean that the page size itself isn't A5 - this isn't a HUGE deal for me, but it definitely would help if it was the standard size with the standard dot grid, mostly for continuity and easy transition from a paper journal to digital.
Johnny: So essentially it’s just a matter of parity with a physical journal dimensions. Is it safe to say A5 is a nice general size to match out of the gate? (Assuming other pages sizes will not be an option with the first version of the app.)
Whitney: Yes! That’s the most popular size. The majority of the most popular A5 size journals used for bullet journaling use the 5mm grid with 39 dots down and 27 across on each page. Really not a HUGE priority, because there are some that vary just a bit from these numbers. May be too picky of me

An error occurred while saving the comment From Claire 1/27/20:
The journal page thumbnail display. As a heavy user of Zinnia with 20+ pages per journal, I crave seeing the timestamp(s) of the page with its thumbnail -- create date, last edit date. I also want the ability to sort & filter by create date and last edit date. I also want to be able to name each page so that I can search for it and sort alphabetically. All this so I can group, section, identify, and find my pages in ways that make sense to me.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tapping the notebook title name gives you more info, like date/time stamps for "created" and "updated," and how many pages it has

Thanks for this great request, and to everyone who voted. We absolutely agree that this would be an amazing feature to bring into Zinnia. Our Design and UI team is hard at work exploring the different options, talking about needs with users, and creating design specs. If you have feedback concerning this request, we’d love if you could write a comment on this Uservoice ticket. That way we can really understand the pain-point here, and what exactly you are looking for. Thanks so much!

An error occurred while saving the comment Not just a glitter brush like in Pigment, but more of a glitter "dauber" that deposits various shapes / sizes of glitter in a way that mimics the random spread of sprinkled glitter on an adhesive surface. Works particularly well with stencils.

Ben: I've thought about this also. After watching how Bryant Del Toro created his journal in the user testing session, it seems like this might be more common. Additionally, Nicole recommended this service from Plum Paper where you can walk through creating your own journal and customize what type of pages you want to us and how they look. Beth ordered one and loved the process.
Ajay: The ability to customize your journal as part of the creation process would be pretty awesome. I think it could materially make the journal creation experience much better.
