Yes! I came here to suggest this and was very happy to see that it was already suggested! Please make a dark mode available. Even if you color during the day, it’s nice to use this for coloring night scapes or darker palette based images!

Would be extremely appreciative if this option were implemented. I had Lasix eye surg, as have many people, which causes sensitivity to bright and white light, I keep dark mode on my tablet and phone at all times. Thanks!

Black background outside the picture. The white background causes glare and sometimes makes it difficult to see details.

Oh, I totally agree with everyone else. I’m a *daily* migraine sufferer and the white backgrounds are very challenging for me. Darkening as much of my screen as possible would be so very appreciated. Even the white background here (as I’m reading these suggestions) is challenging.

An option for a darker screen instead of a blinding white would be very helpful. It useful for coloring at night and is great for helping eye strain, visual impairments, etc. Plus if you happen to add this PLEASE do not make it a premium only feature. Thanks!!

I do most of my Pigment work at night while my partner sleeps. I am constantly struggling to see because I have to turn down the brightness in order not to get a BLINDING headache.

I’m guessing many of us work in Pigment in the dark.

Have choose of background to go to dark mode. Mainly dark mode is more relaxing, and with white bright and doing before bed doesn’t help, but dark mode would.

I get migraines and I had an accident that caused me to be permanently blind in my right eye. As such, I sometimes have a hard time with light sensitivity. It would be amazing to have the option to use light or dark mode. Thanks so much!

Create the ability to change the area surrounding the image being colored from white to dark grey or black.

Having to look a bright white screen when an image is zoomed and panned, makes it very difficult to see shadows and low light details.

It would be MUCH easier on our eyes if the background was darker.

Just take the cue from Mac IOS dark mode.

I have sensory issues, so having a dark background would make working on Pigment much more comfortable. I love Pigment, but having the full white background has been my greatest challenge in using the app. There are times I choose not to use Pigment simply because I cannot take the bright white. I am hoping to see a dark background in Pigment soon!

Yes, please! The white makes it too bright to work on at night for those of us who are sensitive to light. Simple fix… huge accessible benefit!
