The ability to darken the background behind the image
I need to be able to darken the bright white behind my image because I have crappy eyesight and the bright white makes it harder for me to see the different shades of colors.

A tap fill option for the glitter effect
To be able to fill a whole space with the glitter effect instead of having to color it all by hand. And the glitter tool isn’t a consistent size which is very annoying.

Pixie multi app subscription bundles
It would be nice to bundle several of the pixie apps and get a better price to subscribe to 2+. For example, both apps are $12.50. If you already subscribe to pigment then you can also get zinnia for a bundled price of $20. This will encourage people who aren’t subscribed to other pixie apps to try the others out and create brand loyalty.

Draw our own outlines
Other coloring apps allow you to draw your own outline that the fill tools will adhere to, or you can add more outline to the existing outlines. Can this be added to pigment?

Bloom Tool - Pick two colors to fade from one to the other
It would be great to be able to pick two colors when using the bloom tool. One color the starting and then a gradient to the second color.

Eyedropper able to pick up colors from imported pictures
The ability to import a photo and select colors from it when making our palettes. It is time consuming to have to type in each individual hex code when making palettes. This has deterred me from making my own palettes because of the time it takes.

Tutorials that aren’t videos
Can we please have tutorials that aren’t by video? A written description and screenshots would be fantastic. Sometimes people can’t always listen to a video depending on where they are and who’s around them, ex. on public transport, so something readable would help.

Dry brush and light/dark brush
Dry brush is a technique used when painting textured surfaces like rocks, fur, trees, lawns, etc. you would base coat your image with a color then using a brush with a locked opacity (can’t be added color with new strokes) over a mountain or fur swiping the brush allowing on “raised” areas (choose light or dark) to allow to be colored over. It’s very good for realistic pictures. Also nice for blending.

Optional weekly “un challenges”
Creative fuel and techniques (how to) to work on at different levels each week. For instance, a week where you use one pallet for shading. Maybe a week where you create an animal or fashion look. The options are endless for artists, but as a non artist, I know I need inspiration, mini lessons. and a nudge. It would help build confidence in publishing for some of us.

Information modal icon for book identification within current piece
Information modal on the current image being colored. I like to add the book & section to my published pieces so others can easily find where the originals are located. Sometimes this exercise takes a bit to complete - would be nice to have a icon at top showing where the original resides.

Streamlined Colour Sample/Picker
Currently when using the colour sample tool (eyedropper), it seems necessary to hit 'yes/confirm' in a dialog box at the bottom of the screen, which is redundant and slow ( thus annoying).
There are many ways around this, the simplest I might suggest would be that once the desired colour has been located, you just tap in the coloured circle that displays the colour to confirm.
This would make more sense, and eliminate some of pointless UI garbage that this app seems burdened with.

Coloring Page Generation Options
If you added these two functions, I would not need either of two other competitors on iOs:
- An AI coloring page/line art generator (like ColorPop), and
- An art journaling function (like Lake) with an AI-chosen/generated custom color palette and image, based on user input (for Lake, it is based on combined emotions).
Ideally, I’d like to see the art journaling expanded to multi-journaling, stickers, layouts, and shared community content similar to Mini Note.
