5. Add individual pages in Full Journals

   Jann: When you are going for full journals, I think a “build your own journal “ option would be great. For example the workflow goes:
   - Select your journal style
   - Select the pages you need to get started ( pick from available )
   - After the user picks the pages are organized in the order they need them
   - When you add a new page you have the option to select from preexisting pages in that journal set I.e add a new daily page, and a to do page
   - Some items are clearly single sided pages, would be good to be able to select which side they go on when you’re assembling the journal

   Eva: I was just thinking the same today! Selecting and arranging pages before importing

   Claire: Love this! I did some thinking-on-paper about that a while ago. I liked the idea of dynamic pages, so certain journal parts “did stuff” like a post-it note that automatically knew today’s date or a bullet that would automatically change to an X or fade out when I tapped it to show completed item, that sort of thing. I can see Zinnia totally taking over so many other apps, in the future. Why use any other calendar or task list, when zinnia gets to that point? This app is going to take over the world.

   Jann: I had the choose theme first as I think it would be quite difficult to change the look especially if you have a lot of handwriting in it (as everything would then move around :thinking_face:). I’d imagine that would only work if only the border or fonts changed in the spread, although I could be wrong and this could be fine ahaha

9. Customize organization of Studio content

   I was thinking about this today, and I think it would be functional to have a shortcut for this category on the top bar (currently, there we can find shortcuts for text, draw, stickers and images)
   This shortcut would open a category from the Studio where we can find personalized sub-categories with stickers and graphics
   There should be an option to add more sub-categories and rename them
   And when we select a sticker from the page, I would like an option in the bottom bar to add a sticker to favorites and choose a category where to store it

10. Create and save custom color palettes, including recents

    Idea 1: Ability to create a palette of colors that could be used, for instance, throughout a themed journal or page. This would also allow the ability to save frequently used/favorite custom colors.

    Idea 2: Hi there — I’m LOVING Zinnia and have spent hours today making journals and calendars. Something that’s taken tons of time and is very repetitive is having to use the color picker to select custom font colors for each new text box. It would be wonderful to have a recent swatch menu like the one you provide for the ink colors in the drawing part of the app. Thanks!

11. Have color swatches stay fixed, not connected to the brush

    If I want to use airbrush red, airbrush blue, and airbrush green frequently I will try to set up those three items in my tool tray area... but right now the color travels with the tool type, not the slot. It would make more sense if the color stayed fixed with the tool+slot and not just tool-type. That way I know what to expect when I reselect the airbrush in that slot. It will be how I left it. Am I making any sense here? No? LOL I will include a video below to explain...

    Jann during initial alpha testing: Have a "ball point" option that isn't pressure-sensitive to make writing in print easier. Tech pen... has quite a bit of variation (almost like a brush pen)... hard to write neatly

15. Adjust UI to better indicate selected tool, color, line width, opacity

    The little tools change a tiny bit when you select a color. Like, the tip of the pencil turns the shade of blue I have selected. But it does not change much and the tools are kind of small.

    Could you make the body of the tool change to the color I selected?

    Can you make it easier to tell which tool I have selected by having dramatic drop shadows appear (for example) when I have “picked up” the tool?

    I am also weirdly frustrated by the opacity and stroke. I am constantly surprised when that tool I select has an incredibly fat line but another tool I select has an incredibly thin one even though it’s exactly the same setting! Is it possible for you to have a more literal stroke selection widget?

    It would be really great if the opacity were reflected on the body of the tool where I’ve asked the color to be… So that if I have 100% opacity I see solid blue but if I had set 50% opacity then the blue color of the barrel or body of my pencil is pastel... e.g. Also reflective of the opacity value.

    Just want to know what I’m getting a little easier. Considering the default width for each tool type are so various we could use more by way of visual cues.

16. Ability to stretch content / unlock aspect ratio

    Ability to stretch content so it fits better horizontally or vertically. For example, I want this paper background to fit my spread perfectly, but it's just slightly too wide. I'd love to be able to shrink the width just a tad so it fits the area.

17. Combine "Delete, Forwards, and Backwards" and "Copy, Paste, and Lock" menus

    Put Delete, Forwards, and Backwards buttons in the same place as Copy, Paste, and Lock. Not sure why these buttons are separated, but since they all impact the selected content, it makes more sense to have all these actions grouped together.
