    We're super happy to report that the latest version of Spool includes high resolution exports. Choose between 480p, 720p, and 1080p during the export process. Enjoy!

  2. Fade transition effects between videos

    An option to fade one video into another when tapping a new video pad.

    Fade transitions were implemented in version 1.6 and can be found in Pad Settings in Clips.

  3. Easier way to create a deck with imported video

    Make an easier workflow to create a deck from user imported videos by loading more than one at a time.

  4. Support Live photos

    Directly support Live photos, and automatically bounce or loop them. This will open up a lot of content possibilities for creators who don't have their own video footage to work with but do have photo content.

  5. Edit Events Timeline (Video & Fx)

    Show a timeline of Video and Tx tap events, and provide a way to edit the events; move, delete, etc.

    You can now edit video and FX events on a Timeline! This feature was introduced in version 1.7.

  6. Project saving

    There's no way to save a project and come back to it later. Create a project section to save projects for later use.

    The iPad version of Spool is now live in the App Store and released in version 1.8!

    This feature currently exists in Spool. You can swap out a song from the Editor. With the Editor open, tap the music tab at the bottom and then tap Swap Music.

  9. EDITS

    I would like to be able to edit Scenes/ FX instead of having to start the entire video over fresh if I double tap a function

    There is now a Timeline feature which allows you to edit your recorded events.

  10. Select/edit what part of song you want to use

    If you click :30 it just takes the first 30 seconds of the song, but I want to use the middle of the song

    To adjust the start point of a sonf after setting the duration, drag the waveform left and right.
