Recently used colors
I know we can now create our own palette but it would be nice if we had somewhere that tracks recently used colors. Sometimes I use the dropper to select a color and adjust it a bit but then for some reason I do something or click something and it’s gone so having the system default to previously used colors would be nice. Sometimes relying on the dropper is frustrating especially with small items. Thank you!

Permanent option for the platform
Instead of paying for this every year make it permanent for those who want it at the price there is. You can do a subscription for those who are not sure if they want to keep it.

I would like to paste from an outside source without having a pop-up asking if it’s ok.
Why must I ok a paste from an outside source EVERY SINGLE TIME? There should be something to turn that off. Or, have the app ask if I would like to turn that off. It’s ridiculous. If I am pasting I know that I am doing it, don’t ask me if it’s ok. The app never did these before the last update.

Guidelines
Guidelines that appear to ensure things are equally spaced (see Canva website).
They would pop up in red as you drag various items to ensure photos are aligned or text boxes. But they would disappear once finished adjusting. As someone who works with graphic media frequently this is very useful when spacing my items to guide where I want the viewer to look as they are reviewing my work.2 votes -
It's really frustrating to not have a Windows or native webapp.
I stopped my subscription for well over a year because of this. I briefly subscribed again, but I don't know that I'm going to stay. This has been a problem for years, brought up several times, and there's been no response on this specifically, only on Apple products (ie: the announcement of the recent Mac app). Even if a Windows app isn't possible, I'd at least like to access my notes on the Zinnia website, in the same vein as Canva, OneNote, etc. I'd happily pay a little more if only to get this feature, but I can't justify the…

Update it without glitches please,
Every day at some point when I’m using it for school, it will glitch and undo something I wrote without me being able to recover it and whenever I use the slicer to move something it’ll glitch moving something entirely different. Usually, I can undo that but then when I click done with the page, it’s all messed up. If I try to write again, the page will fix itself to how I left it but if I’m just scrolling through the notebook, it looks chaotic.

Read/non-edit mode
A mode/toggle to go from edit to read mode, clicking links can be frustrating when selection picks boxes around it instead. In a non edit mode templates wouldn’t be selected, like in good notes.

Auto combine the pages when page layout is changed
It would be great if, when the page layout is changed, the pages would automatically come together. For example, i got a journal that was ready by you guys but it was in portrait. I prefer landscape so i changed it but the layout went to the middle of the page instead of pages 1 and 2 combining into 1 landscape page, page 3 and 4 to the next and so on. The first 2 images show how it went and the third shows how i would have liked it :)

2024 Monday calendar for 2025
I really liked the 2024 Monday calendar, but was disappointed to see it's not available for 2025. Please bring that back for 2025.

Option to turn on or off shading/overlapping strokes
When filling in an area with a color, if I lift my pen and go back, it causes the surrounding area to get darker as if putting another layer of color… this is an awesome feature for when people want to do detailed coloring… but for moments such as, filling in a big space or wanting something to be one consistent color, it’s a bit frustrating. An option to turn this on or off would be awesome!

Swiss flag
Dear Zinnia Team
I really love the app and use it almost everyday to create all sorts of things. For a project I need some flags and unfortunately there is so Swiss flag. When entering „Switzerland“ only the Swedish flag shows up- common mistake;-) I would be very grateful if you found a way to create the Swiss flag!

Text box option to be able to select to add date, like with the calendars.
It would be handy for daily pages to just be able to add the date and then still be able to format it with font and size options. Maybe just adding a couple simple templates that can be added to a page.

Templates and organization for parents
Make a journal or templates specifically designed for parents. Examples include personal informations emergency contacts with family friends and neighbors. Family emergency plans and guides, baby sitter info and child profiles
And school info

I am currently in chemistry. It would be great if there is a new page style for chem students with hexagonal graphing that varies in sizes(a few cm difference)

Custom palettes color drop tool
I love the new feature for custom palettes, but it’s very difficult to select the right colors when setting up a new palette without a lot of preliminary work - like looking up the hex codes beforehand. It would be great if the color dropper tool were available so you could pick up an exact shade from content already on a page!

Clip in dashboards (what Erin condren calls them)
Basically, it would be a sticker, or a notepad, or a clear divider. A place to drag and drop, or lay out, stickers and text boxes, templates and other doodads you want to use on the page that you are currently working on. This is different in that it would be specifically displayed off the page. I’ve experimented with this before, and it doesn’t work out very well because once you move something off the page, it disappears. However, when it’s on the page, it’s a bit messy to figure out where to put everything once you pulled it out…

Size options for line, grid, and dot style pages
I would love the ability to choose between sizes for grid and line style pages in the page style section. Sometimes my journal looks fantastic when I’m zoomed in as I’m writing, but when I finish my page and zoom out I find a visually unpleasing amount of empty space.

Update auto-date button and over-ride auto-date button
I use your auto-date template as a starting point then make my edits but there is no way to copy the planner page with my edits and update the date for the next day/week/month/year, etc. I can duplicate it but it duplicates the date from the previous. Then if I edit the date manually and save then leave the page it reverts the dates back to what it was from the original. I don’t want to have to date everything manually but I want my customizations. I don’t want to have to recreate my edits every time I need to…
