Crop, mask, or erase parts of content and photos

Just a few examples: I would definitely want to apply, for instance, a paper texture behind (or into) a frame. If the frame is hand-drawn I may want to create a mask that follows the contours of the frame. Or if the frame and texture are of different proportions I may want to crop the texture so it fits. Or I may not want to scale the texture down, so I would create a mask to reveal a portion of the texture at 100% of size.

    Sometimes I’d like to insert pictures, which I’d like to crop. But I want the original photo in my storage (cloud) and a cropped picture in the planner/ my scrapbook.

    Being able to cut/crop images within the app. Also being able to cut out shapes from the paper packs and journal cards.

    I ran into this this morning. My temporary solution was the color over the parts of the sticker I wanted hidden with the same color as my background 🤦🏽‍♀️

    So we can ungroup stuff out of templates but we can’t erase just a stoke out of the template, so instead of erasing a whole part of the template we would like to be able to erase a stroke.

    It would be great to be able to crop a photo once you have placed it in the journal.

    Translation: I hope you can perfect the lasso tool of this software, that is, import a picture to freely cut the desired part. And increase the number of pages of non-members.

    It’s difficult to bring in own images and have them look seamless without a crop tool to trim off the unwanted areas in a image. This would be very handy for those of us that want to bring in our own photos to use as stickers or a collage effect. It’s one of the main features that has kept me going back to GoodNotes. I’d drop them for good if this feature were added on.

    Some stickers or papers are too large, and it takes time for large images to load, even if they are partially ‘hanging off the page’ and not visible. The ability to crop would help my pages to load faster, and cut down on the possibility of the app crashing. The ability to crop with straight edges, or ‘freehand’ as with goodnotes, would be really helpful.

    Would be great to be able to erase graphics. So if I wanted to erase a part and draw in something else that would be great.

    Using a habit tracker and I want to be able to post more rows by cropping an existing template and adding just the rows I need

    AGREED! Ability to lasso a piece of a template to reproduce it. This should apply to text too

    I'm confused about Rebecca Brandt's comments. Are you saying we can mask and change photo shapes? If so I don't understand how to make and clip and freeform clip.
