Great news - we've introduced the slice tool in Zinnia! When using the slice tool, you can now lasso around handwritten elements and be able to move and scale them to your liking. We also acknowledge that a lot of you have asked for the ability to change color of the text without having to rewrite it. The team will take this into consideration for the next iteration of this tool.

Was auch klasse wäre, wenn man z.B. Bilder mit dem „Stift“ zurechtschneiden könnte, also in freier Form sozusagen.

Ich fände es auch gut, wenn man von Hand geschriebene Sachen in der Farbe ändern kann! Das ist total nervig 😬

Just requested the same I get so frustrated because even if copy sticker or background I can't find a darn scissor app to crop the way that's in my head and I have an issue changing that idea. It frustrates me so much just end up going out of the app altogether. -

I have a hard time finding a way to cut things into shapes. And I would like some other design choices, my own style, if we have this already than I need help.

have the option to crop by drawing around the object, as well as have the pens write less blurry. i would like more crisp writing like goodnotes

I think I posted something like this too, and we may be having the same idea. I called mine a snapshot tool. Haha but I pretty much thought it would be a good idea to be able to free draw or have a shape. Take a snapshot picture then copy and paste. Great minds think alike.

Yess this is the only important feature everyone need in journaling

An over all easier way to select items, to start, then options; crop etc.

Yes, freeform cropping would be amazing. I was going to ask for this feature myself but happy to see others are already seeking it as well.

This is a make or break feature for me

Feature where I can circle/select a grab a pice of writing and move it to a different part of the page so I can easily rearrange my calendar without having to erase and rewrite everything. (The lasso feature in other apps)

It would be great if we could have free hand cropping tool as in GoodNotes as it is a MUST HAVE function for journaling.
Another thing we need is an ERASER function to get rid of the unwanted parts of stickers or photos.
If these two functions are in, zinnia will be on fire, for sure.
Otherwise, I can’t deny that Zinnia is the best digital journaling app that I have ever used.
Loving it more and more everyday.

This request about selecting text individually is still a big issue in Zinnia. May developers will hear our voices. :)

It is so frustrating to not be able to move just one word or one line. Since I can’t do that I wind up having to re-write an entire paragraph. Please quit grouping all my handwriting or drawing together.
