We've implemented straight lines, where you can draw a line, hold your finger or stylus for a moment, and the line will snap straight. We're working on shapes soon, too!

Lasso tool that can select things individually. Every other journal app, the lasso tool can select one word or one letter if needed, with Zinnia if you attempt to lasso handwriting it for whatever reason selects everything you’ve hand written. Not very useful when you’re using it to take notes or actual journaling, I end up having to erase even if I need to move a word to another place on my page.
Would also be helpful to be able to lasso handwriting and select color to change.
Similar tools are available on CollaNote and GoodNotes, although CollaNote has hands down the best features, but I prefer to use Zinnia for the stickers and templates.
