First of all, you can take out an annual subscription which is, for what Pigment provides very reasonable, and whihc I have on my Ipad.. Secondly, the pricing for short term subscriptions is always higher because those accounts aren't worth it when you take into account dealing wth support and feature requests. And, finally, if you don't like the pricing structure, there are other coloring apps available
