We've implemented straight lines, where you can draw a line, hold your finger or stylus for a moment, and the line will snap straight. We're working on shapes soon, too!

In the beta, the selected state...the tool juts up taller than the unselected tools... but in this example I have shown the color selection on the barrel of the tool and added more dramatic drop shadow. Trying to devise some way to make sure the tool looks ‘picked up” and “In use.’ That kind of thing.

Here’s 0:04 seconds of video to remind how that goes. .. it’s just a vertical line tick mark for each object...added along with that object... to a horizontal left/right control... That allows the user to tap among the layers where objects reside... Adobe Spark is another good example... same mechanism, blah blah... :-)
