I would like to crop images

It would be great to be able to crop images. Other note taking and journaling apps have this option, and they allow for a rectangular crop and a freehand option to draw an outline as well.

I often use only portions of a photo or other images and really need to be
able to trace out the section I want to use. This is the only thing that is
keeping me from purchasing the yearly membership which I don’t mind
paying as I can easily spend $20 a month on sticker packs if I don’t stop myself. It is a great app but the cropping is a deal breaker for me.

Yes, and not just in a rectangular way but free form crop (like to make a sticker) like on GoodNotes (which I often journal in instead of Zinnia because of the cropping ability) please

Yes please! I would love the ability to crop imported photos or place them into containers (like frames or shapes). A free crop would be great too for creating abnormal masks around the subject of a photo.

Cropping images within the pages would make it so much easier. This would be a huge time saver!

I would like to crop images

I normally have to go to my photos to crop then add them instead of being able to crop once I add them to Zinnia.

Include the option to crop elements or photos within the app.

 Be able to use the lasso tool to select an area to cut off/remove it. Being able to choose or import photos or stickers and select parts to remove.

*Add option to edit our pictures (cut, add filters, put a frame like
polaroid)

*I wish I can put a song (song of the day) maybe from Spotify or a video.

*Would be cool if we can write a link to any url and the app redirect.

Since is a digital diary we could use all the formats.
After that will be perfect!

So excited to see this is planed. I hope it will work on the washi tape I am not crazy about the ragged ends but I love having so many patterns. At the moment I screenshot and take it in to an art app where I cut it to a rectangle. But it’s a lot of extra work.

Give the option of inserting photos and manually crop them to remove the background of the photo and keep the outline.

Definitely feel that being able to crop a photo within the app would be VERY useful. I have to go out to another app to crop and then go back to zinnia to use it.

Hello! I really like this app but have some suggestions! Please
include more InDesign like features such as:

- Ability to CROP imported pictures in Zinnia!! Must have***
- Alignment SMART GUIDES (i.e. having photos or text boxes “Snap Into
Place” as they read the alignment of other photos/boses)

I really hope you will consider implementing these features into your app.

In order to personalize more, and to cut up shapes so they can be adjusted without constrained properties

I think we should have a way to crop frames and other things to the page if we want kind of like the washi tape with the width and length of it. The lasso tool would be better if we could be able to lasso something on the page and delete or move it around without deleting the whole thing if we aren’t trying to.

Cropping and the ability to size images like washi tape option are the only things I need for now. I like to pull an image from my files but I can’t if I only need to crop 1 image from that page. I only want to use Zinnia and this would do it for me! Zinnia does all the rest! Goodbye GoodNotes!
