Sync app between iPad and iPhone
I do all of my planning and journaling on my iPad, however it would be great to be able to access my journals and planner from my phone when I am out and about as I don’t often carry my iPad with me. For example, if I create a grocery list in my planner, I would like to be able to access my journal/planner and view that list on my phone when I am at the store.

Straight line when highlighting
When I try to use the highlight feature I can’t ever make a straight line on the words, could there be a feature where it automatically straightens out?
81 votesYes, you can currently do this in Zinnia! Using one of our writing tools, draw a line and hold it for a second or two before picking up your stylus or finger. This will straighten the line. Enjoy!

Move page from one journal to another
Please make it easier to move journal pages between journals. Make it possible to copy and past data between journals.
6 votesYou can do this currently! Tap on the ... icon on the page you are looking to move, and tap "move," then select the journal where you want it to go. You can also select any object on your page, copy it, and paste it into another journal.

Bring out the monthly and next year content earlier
July content didn’t come out until it was too late to put the plan in for the next month, It should be a month ahead. The 2023 content needs to come out earlier too.

Distribute & justify text options
Comparable to left/center/right text alignment. Spreads/spaces out words and/or paragraphs to fit the full text box margin to margin!

There aren’t always images that relate to what I want hyperlinked. I would like to able to hyperlink text boxes.

Option to "Add to Zinnia" in other iOS apps
Hi there! I know you can copy paste images, but it would be great if I could click the add image button and there was an option to select a folder instead of just going to the photo reel.
Copy/pasting from another app and then going back to the journals is clunky. Especially for an app with a yearly subscription.
Also, I’d like to add multiple stickers at once like I can in GoodNotes. In GoodNotes you can add stickers to be used later. I’d like to do the same in Zinnia.12 votesIn our last app update, we added this feature! Dates and time and the mood
If possible have the dates and time and the mood, when I write on a single page, like a little introduction at the beginning or the end of the page, easy to add or delete in case no one need it!
1 voteWe have tons of content where you can add the date, time, and mood to each of your pages. We have some really small planner icons where can add this info and then copy-paste it to each of your pages. You can also make your own, by finding what you like in templates, ungrouping the template, and then taking the elements you want and apply them to your pages. You can also "group" these elements together, then save to My Stuff, for easy access. Hope this helps!

import images from files
It would be helpful if I could import images from files rather than the photos app on my ipad.

Sync button
An option to force syncing because the app never seems to do it on its own
1 voteSyncing should be automatic, as long as you have good internet service. I personally use Zinnia on my iPhone and iPad constantly and the sync is instantaneous. Click links without having to also click ‘go to link’
I want to be able to navigate throughout journals quickly and when I click a link I have to also click go to link. It’d be nice to be able to turn that off and just go to link without having to click that. I’m trying to switch from zinnia from Goodnotes and this is a must if I’m going to make the switch.
4 votesThanks for your request. You can actually already do this in Zinnia! Just double-tap on the linked item and you will be taken to the correct page, without having to tap the "Go to link" in the pop-up menu. If you have any trouble with this, email us at support@zinniajournal.com. Thanks!

Move pages between journals
I have a few journals going and I accidentally created a page in the wrong journal…so I tried to move it but couldn’t.
I would like the ability to easily move pages or content from one journal to another…
2 votesYou can definitely do this in Zinnia :) When you are in the pages view (where you see all pages in a single journal), tap on the page you want to move, then tap the "move" button. You can then decide what journal you want to add this page to.

Dictation please
2 votesDictation should work in Zinnia currently. If you open a text box, and then tap the dictation icon on the keyboard, you should be able to speak whatever content you want to have written down. Hope this helps!

Place images from folder
I have my phone backup in dropbox and it would be great if you could add a photo/image from a file folder either on the ipad or in a cloud folder.
3 votesYou can do this in Zinnia currently! Just go to your folder on your device, select the image, copy, and paste into Zinnia. You can also do a split-screen with Dropbox or whatever file folder you are using, along with Zinnia, and drag and drop the images into your journal. Hope this helps!

Compression settings on the pdf export
Right now, exporting a month of journal pages is weighing in at 100.9 mags. That is a really weighty file and it would be nice if we had a way to compress files for easier export and less hard drive space.

Scribble Feature on iPad
The app currently does not support scribble feature on iPad.
It would make filling in text boxes easier. The feature partially enables when the pencils is connected (so I have no key board) but I can’t write with my pencils as it simple moves my page.
If this could be addressed that would be wonderful.Thank You!

Ability to link text to another text/image/sticker on other pages.
I love being able to link images and stickers/objects to images and stickers on other pages. I’d also love to be able to do the same with text.

Lettering stickers
Since I am still new app, there might be feature for this but I can’t find it. When using the letting stickers(individual letters), it hard to get them to be same size and make it a straight or have them line up the way you want without doing it individually. Maybe make a tool to help group it so they can be the same size

Import stickers
Be able to download sticker packs from Etsy and import them into the sticker section on your zinnia app
31 votesYou can do this currently in Zinnia! You can take sticker packs from Etsy and bring them into Zinnia, either by copy-pasting, dragging-dropping, or saving to your photo reel and importing into Zinnia as a photo. You can then save your stickers to My Stuff. We are also working on a cropping tool so you will soon be able to bring in entire sticker sheets and crop individual stickers out. Hope this helps!

Would like to be able to use the type feature at desired zoom
The current settings right now are a bit uncomfortable because the 12 font which is preferred for typing is so tiny that it makes it uncomfortable to use the typing feature. It would be nice if you can add feature that allows typing at all zoom levels
