Folders / shelves - to organize by month, topic, or archive old journals
Organize journals by month, topic, or have an "archive" folder to put old journals.
Could also put folders inside a journal, so for example, what this user requested:
In a 12 months planner, I want to be able to close Out months when I’m finished with them, but easily reopen for reference later as needed. Or if my journal has several topics, be able to open and close those topics and work within one space at a time. Page organizing.

I would like to be able to save my stuff into folders or collections. I have different types of projects that I do in this app so I have different templates, stickers, icons, etc... Saved but they have no order. I would also like to save different journals into collections.

This is one of the major drawbacks between apps like GoodNote and Zinnia!

Be able to organize journals based on subject. Like have different shelves or something. I don’t like long notebooks because I get overwhelmed. I like to have categories, subjects, folders, or shelves.

I use these notebooks for a range of things - travel journals, wedding planning, organisation/to do lists, clinical notes & work related notes. It would be great if on the homepage we could organise our notebooks into different categories so it feels cleaner and manageable 😊

would help sooooo much. the more journals I have the more I've started to look for whether other apps have this feature.

This is really important to me. Because I use zinnia for work, study and personal and my daughter is linked to it for herself. It would be nice to put notebooks in a folder so notebooks are easy to find instead of scrolling through all my notebooks.

I wish there was a way to make different folders to hold journals.

Please allow users to organize and group journals on bookcases and bookshelves instead of being all jumbled together on one page. For instance, a user who is a homeschooling mom like me might have a bookcase for each child with shelves for each subject, a bookcase for planning with shelves of planners for teaching, work, meal-planning, and self care, etc.

To be able to put multiple journals into a folder.
For example: I have several journals on different trips I’ve taken I would like to organize them into a folder titled trips, so when I go to find a specific journal I could open the folder and all my journals for that topic would be together -

For instance I create a weekly menu and have a journal just for that but would like to put the previous weeks in a folder so I have only the current week open

I write my journal and I would be able that once the month is over I would creat a folder regarding that month under that main journal and open a new file regarding the new month I am about to start.

I use these journals to take notes on client appointments. If I can have all my client journals in one area and all of my personal journals in another area, it would make this experience flow more.

It would be nice to have folders in which we can place our journals to organise them by topic or theme. I like to do some creative writing but I want to keep my creative writing away from my journalling and day-to-day journals. I am thinking a layout like on a coputer for sorting documents.
