Folders / shelves - to organize by month, topic, or archive old journals
Organize journals by month, topic, or have an "archive" folder to put old journals.
Could also put folders inside a journal, so for example, what this user requested:
In a 12 months planner, I want to be able to close Out months when I’m finished with them, but easily reopen for reference later as needed. Or if my journal has several topics, be able to open and close those topics and work within one space at a time. Page organizing.
We have some exciting news to share - folders are here! To create a new folder, just tap the "+" icon in the upper right-hand corner. To move a journal into a folder, you can long hold on the journal using your finger or Apple pencil and drag and drop it into the folder you want. You can also move your journal to a folder using the three dot menu in the bottom right-hand corner of the journal. We hope you love this new feature!

I’ve been using zinnia as an alternative to mendeley for storing research papers to write my own, and i wish i had a way to organize and separate them from my main journals! I’d also love a bookmarking system, or at least have the journals open up to the last page i was on. Finally, i really wish i had a way to access my journals from my pc or macbook when im typing things up, and also continue making notes on the journal itself!

A feature similar to Proceate’s document stacking would be helpful. I make a new journal for each month and would like to stack all my 2021 journals to clean up the landing page a little.

I came here to say this! I want my college class notebooks all together in one folder. All my Bible study notes in another.

I’m surprised this isn’t a more requested feature. As time goes on and I create more notebooks, I can see the need to organize them into folders.
Please consider this for the future:)

It would be really great to be able to organize notebooks into folders on the Journals main page!

To be able to hide old journals not in use but do not want to delete

This would allow folks to separate trackers, journals, art projects etc. into they’re own separate folders instead of having a million different journals on the main page

Great folders on the main page to be able to archive or bing older journal into annual folders, or even categories journal into folder like ‘home’ ‘school’ ‘2021’ ‘2022’ ‘writings ‘ etc.

I would like to organize my journals into folders (virtual backpacks if you will) so i can separate my school lecture note journals from my daily life planners instead of keeping them all together ^ ^ also imagine customizing the folder icons 🥺🥺🥺

You can send pages to a new book. Works great for organizing and saving pages you want to keep but not in a specific book.

i also use zinnia for my school and i would be happy if you could put the pages in folders to keep things tidy. It would also be great if you want to make lines that you can make them straight with a tool

Add an edition of folders like on google docs and have it so that you can drag your journals into the folders

I have monthly journals and at the end of the year I’d like to put them into a 2020 folder to clean up my main screen. Drag and drop would be preferred.

Hiding a page in journal and being able to access from a different tab. It would be great for times when I don’t want to lose the content in the page but don’t want to see it for the moment, and want my journal look tidy.

Folders that allow you to group different journals together.
